StockTax Define Report Details                  (Back to Home)

In this step you tell StockTax details what about the report details.
Click on this button in the StockTax main window
(or press 3)

StockTax will bring up the "Define Report Details" window:

You can select the following Report Types:

1. Tax Form Schedule-D Report
   This report will show each completed trade in the form required by the IRS for the Schedule-D attachment
2. Account Balances
   This report will show the account balance, current total Profit/Loss and the last trade

The report is written to a plain text file (default is "\Stocktax\Report1.txt) as shown in:


To change that default location click on the button.

Then you have several Report Options to choose from.

In the Date Filter section you can select only transaction in a certain date range for your report.

In the Sort section you can decide in what sort order StockTax should show the matched transactions.

Click on the button to save your report details.

StockTax will display the main report details next to the button in the main window:
