StockTax Overview
(Back to Home) (Tutorial)
StockTax functions in four easy steps (see sample screen below):
- Step1: Select your Broker (Example DATEK)
There are many different ways how your buy/sell transaction data is actually stored and
represented.
In this first step you tell StockTax what type of data you want to process next.
- Step2: Select your Data Files
In this step you point StockTax to the file or files were your transaction data is
actually stored in your computer.
We suggest to store your files in the designated folder "\StockTax\YourData",
but you can chose any location on your computer.
You can save your transactions daily, weekly or monthly etc,
just make sure you don't save transactions twice and have StockTax process the same
transaction twice!

You can also enter or add transactions using the MANUAL Transaction
Entry
- Step3: Define Report Details
In this step you define details regarding your actual report

- Step4: Run Report
That's it - in this step you generate your report.
The report is saved in a plain text file and can be easily pasted to your WordProcessor
for printing and final editing before using it for Tax fillings etc.
When you first install StockTax, you will run
in DEMO MODE for up to 30 days (Trial period)
Shown in at the StockTax main window:
If you want to continue using StockTax and process ALL your transactions, place your order
at:
